Zach leads Meta’s global brand design practice, where his team is designing for the future of connection. He is responsible for the global brand design and expression of Meta, Reality Labs, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta.
In 2023 he led the launch of Meta Reality Lab’s iconic products including Quest 3, culture defining Ray-Ban Meta glasses, Meta Ai, Meta Horizon, Meta retail and digital. He was one of D&AD’s 2023 top Design Directors
In 2021, he led a small internal team, working directly with Mark Zuckerberg to re-brand the company to Meta.
Over his nine years at Meta, he has founded and built Meta’s brand design practice, institutionalized brand thinking, developed dozens of design patents, scaled products to billions of people, developed global brand campaigns and helped define Meta’s portfolio of brands.
Prior to Meta, he has partnered with startups, advertising agencies and nonprofits. In 2013, he concluded his time on the historic Obama 2012 re-election campaign.
He grew up in the Ohio rust belt, studying art, design, computer engineering and printmaking.
